A few questions to get to know her better:
What do you most look forward to working at Varinos Dental Associates?
I’m looking forward to being in the Boston area with a dental group that focuses on taking care of patients and helping everyone feel comfortable at the dentist while providing the highest standard of care.
What made you want to become a dentist?
I was an artsy kid that was fascinated by science. Dentistry is a great way to use problem solving skills and satisfy the science nerd in me, while requiring a certain amount of esthetic aptitude. This combination of factors seemed like a good career fit and a lot of crafty detail work has had direct applications with many of the aspects of dentistry.
What do you think is important about how you practice?
As a provider I am constantly honing my skills and taking continuing education courses to be among the dentists that are providing the most current options to all dental problems. My job is to find which option is the best solution to each specific patient.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Healthy and pain free patients that are happy with their smiles make this job worthwhile. Whether it is working with a patient that is terrified of the office and allowing them to work through debilitating fear and anxiety, to checking in with a patient during a cleaning with a ‘cavity free’ declaration there are moments throughout each day that are rewarding. This job allows me to able to rehabilitate a smile from damage, disease or injury on a patient that is embarrassed or ashamed of their smile, into having this same patient beaming a toothy grin and having tears of joy when seeing the final result – that is incredible.
Is there anything you would like the patients at Varinos Dental to know about you?
I recently moved to eastern Massachusetts and am excited about exploring this area and being close to a major city. I look forward to any suggestions for things to do and places to go!
