Our Watertown Location Welcomes Dr. Brandon Eash!
Dr. Eash is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is looking for-ward to working with the patients and employees of the Varinos Dental Associates family, and so are we. We asked him a few questions to get to know him better:
What do you most look forward to working at Varinos Dental Associates?
Expanding my professional skills as I continue my education in surgical management, endodontics and sedation in a professional environment where collaboration among doctors, hygiene staff, and front desk staff is encouraged.
What made you want to become a dentist?
I felt I could master this field – I have always been fascinated by the human body, how it works and combats disease. I also love detailed, fine work with my hands – dentistry is a field that marries these two interests superbly.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Positive patient reactions. The ones I love are: 1) Seeing a patient look at their new smile in the mirror, for example after replacing a missing front tooth – wow!. 2) Relieving acute pain, such as from a toothache. I am amazed that people can go from debilitating pain to complete relief sometimes in a matter of minutes! So thankful for my training.
Is there anything you would like the patients at Varinos Dental to know about you?
I enjoy sharing that I practiced as an electrical engineer for 9 years before beginning dental school, and continued to practice part-time even while in school. I’ve designed circuits for coffee makers, irrigation systems, even anti-terror systems such as nerve gas/explosive detection systems. Also, I lived abroad in Monterrey, Mexico as a college exchange student, and love to keep up with my Spanish speaking skills.
